What is Volunteer Connections?

Volunteer Connections is Both a local Volunteer Center & a Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

 

What Does Volunteer Connections Do?

Volunteer Connections Helps Non Profits looking for Volunteers, and Volunteers looking For Non profits meet.

 

Why Should I Sign Up With Volunteer Connections?

There are several Benefits of being a Volunteer Connections Volunteer. All of our Volunteer are covered under a basic injury insurance when they are volunteering. We also keep our volunteers up to date with whats going on in the local community, and new opportunities as they develop with our monthy e-newsletter.

 

How Do I Sign Up?

There are two ways a Non Profit can sign up. The first is to use our online sign up, or download our Non Profit  application from the menu on the left. Due to staff shortages the average time to process an application is anywhere from 1-4 days.

 

What Happens After I Sign Up?

When a Non Profit application is received it is evaluated on many factors, based on those factors we attempt to collect volunteers that best suite the Non Profits needs. Once this is done, the Non Profits Applications is approved, and we begin a communication on Volunteer Recruitment.

 

Does it Cost anything to Sign Up?

No, it does not cost anything to sign up as a volunteer or an agency!

 

How Long Do I have to Wait?

After a Non Profit has submitted their application it can take 1-4 days for us to process it. Afterward depending on the type of opportunities the Non Profit is seeking volunteers for, it could take anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks for recruitment.
